No Carb Left Behind: The Farewell Tour

2011 January 25
by Pamela

There are only two more weeks and two days until my due date.

Which means there are two more weeks and two days to EAT.

This is the last leg of the journey I call “No Carb Left Behind”  It is the farewell tour too.  I will never get the chance to eat whatever I want whenever I want it until…. well, never.  Here’s what’s left on my list:

Sweet potato fries with chipotle mayo

A really fabulous cupcake

My mom’s chicken paprikash

My mom’s pistachio pudding layered dessert with cream cheese and cool whip, oh my!

Ben & Jerry’s Karamel Sutra pint

As many eggs as possible (if I’m not pregnant I get horrible stomach aches from eggs)

At least two super thick burgers on awesome buns

Marcia’s peach cobbler

Full-blown dinner at Roman Village – tons of bread with a side of alfredo, seafood stuffed shells, and whatever that amazing dessert is with the custard, mini eclairs and ganache.

I’m making stellar progress on this list, I must say.

Feel free to leave more ideas in the comments.  I still have two weeks until the tour comes to an end!

Sweet potato fries with whipped cream all from Outback it is unbelievable and I don’t like sweet potatos. Now it is something I dream about at least once a week…..I am daydreaming about them now. If I wasn’t married I would move to Utah where I’m sure they would let me marry the fried vegetable and heavy whipping cream!

Oh wow, that does sound good! Bob just said the other day “I hope Kelly brings us dinner again from Outback when we have the baby!”. I started laughing and reminded him he could take me there whenever he wants. :)

Yes, think we could plan a quick girls night? I’ll be able to splurge here and there of course, but I won’t be able to keep up this kind of regular splurging on ww!

Well, shoot – I didn’t know you had to be pregnant to eat all that stuff!!! That’s the problem then. I can only vaguely remember pregnancy so goodbye carbs, I guess!
