Things That Make Me Go Hmmm.

2011 January 9
by Pamela

It’s 11:30 p.m. and Elizabeth has woken up five times within the last hour.  Even for her, this is bad.

I just went into her room to comfort her again and said, “Elizabeth, what’s wrong?  Are you sick?”

Her response:  “No, I want some dinner.  And don’t bring me kitty food.  I’m really hungry”.

So either she was talking to me half-asleep or her sister just got busted for trying to get Elizabeth to eat cat food.

Either way, I can’t stop chuckling.

I LOVE that you are blogging! I’m not really that into blogs but I might just have to follow yours. I can’t stop reading. I relate to your words so much. Thanks for being encouraging and so hilarious at the same time. Your girls are beautiful and I love how you write about their spirit and individuality. These are the things that makes them one of a kind! I can’t help but to reflect on my own daughter’s big personality and our relationship. Thanks for reminding me to be present with her each and every day and to find meaning and humor in the day to day.
