She’s Here!
Our sweet Lydia Erin was born on Tuesday, 2/15 at 12:12 a.m. Here she is nestled in a little bed prepared by her big sisters:
She is 19 inches long and weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz, our biggest baby yet thanks to the No Carb Left Behind tour.
She has quite a bit of very dark brown hair in the back. I finally birthed a child that has my coloring!
Although Lydia has dark hair, she is still a Wright girl. And the Wright girls are all born yellow. Lydia’s jaundice is somewhat under control and we are praying to not have to take her back to the hospital for light treatments like we did with Mary Claire and Elizabeth. To help her liver metabolize the billirubin, she spends a little time each day catching some sun :
Oh my goodness, don’t you just want to scoop her up and kiss those cheeks?
she’s precious. and those cheeks! congrats, mama!
Lydia is so precious-I can’t wait to meet her!
Beautiful!!
So happy that she is finally here, and beautiful, and healthy. I can’t wait to meet her in person. Your family is truly blessed!

Congrats Wright Family! So glad that Lydia is here safely. And you are so right about those cheeks!
Hooray for a picture. I loved our little brief visit but can’t wait to hold her in real world. I have not held a newborn in a super long time!
Aw, Pamela. Congratulations! She is darling
Congratulations!
Yup, I can’t wait to kiss those cheeks!
AWESOME!!!
ACK!! She’s so cute! I want to squeeze those cute cheeks! Congratulations momma! Did your red heads start out with dark hair first too?
Thanks Tonia! No, the girls were red or redish from the beginning. I think I finally got one that’s going to look like me. :)
*smile* how sweet!
my redheads were born red too. And then we got one that was white blond. It’s kind of fun to change things up. Enjoy her, dear girl. You look beautiful.
Awesome! Congrats to you and your family.
